Cypress Benefit Solutions is proudly accepting donations of new or gently used suitcases to benefit foster children in Stokes County, located in Danbury, NC.
Thousands of children in North Carolina enter the foster care system each year, and range in age from infants to 18 years old.
Many children are placed in foster care because of poverty, illness or a parent’s addiction and/or unwillingness to take care of them.
These children are placed in the care of foster parents and often move from one home to the next with nothing but a trash bag for their belongings.
Since many of these kids are placed in foster care at such a young age and moved around, they never develop a strong sense of belonging.
